FILM FESTIVAL POSTPONED!
We are super bummed about what’s going on in our community and across the globe; it is unprecedented and our thoughts go out to all of those effected.
Our venue, The Kanab Center, has shut its doors until May 1st per the request of the County Commission, and thus, the Film Festival has been postponed.
Our new Festival dates are May 28-30th (for now!)
So, change your flights (they’re super cheap right now), round up your babysitters and we will see you at the movies!
Kanab Film Fest will hold their second annual Film Festival at the newly opened Kanab Center from April 16-18, 2020. Attendees will get to see the very best films from students and professionals from all over the world.
Tickets can be purchased as single or multi-day pass through KanabFilm.com. The Film Fest takes place in a relaxing setting, perfect for getting to know the filmmakers. There will be specialty work-shops, outdoor activities, and a kids portion, so everyone in the community can be involved.
Last year, the festival winners and the wife of the subject of her film, Jeff Lowe’s Metanoina, spoke about he 10-year journey that went into making this documentary, which has been winning awards and titles at numerous festivals.
This year will showcase more of these incredible journeys.
Filmmakers: Submission are open in the full-length, short, student, Utah, and open categories. Go to KanabFilm.com for more information.
Kanab Film Fest is dedicated to keeping Kanab’s film making history alive.
