Kanab and the Grand Canyons Region is easily accessible from 3 major airports and 1 smaller airport. The City of Kanab also has a small airport. Kanab is also very close to Interstate 15 and various paved highways.
Las Vegas (LAS)
200 miles – Drive time to Kanab is 3 hours.
Salt Lake City (SLC)
317 miles – Drive time to Kanab is 5 hours.
350 miles – Drive time to Kanab is 5.5 hours.
St. George (SGU)
80 miles – Drive time to Kanab is 1.5 hours.
Connection flights to St. George, Utah bring you closer to Kanab. Private transportation is available between St. George and Kanab.
Car rentals are available at the airports. If you expect to do any backcountry driving you will want to rent a 4X4 with high clearance.

Kanab is on Mountain Standard Time, one hour ahead of Las Vegas. As you are traveling between Utah, Arizona, and Nevada be aware of Daylight Savings Time. Arizona opts out of Daylight Savings time; half of the year Arizona is on Mountain Standard Time (November – March), the other half of the year Arizona is on Pacific Standard Time (March-November).
